Amanda Brooks on The Selby

Amanda Brooks is one of our favorite equestrian style icons, so we were so excited to find a beautiful feature of her family and Oxfordshire home on The Selby. When asked, what are the six most beautiful things about the English countryside, she commented, "Early wheat in the fields, horses and horses and horses, 400 year-old trees, "Cow Parsley" aka Queen Anne's Lace, strawberries, and dry stone walls."

Country Holidays

The right swag of green can make all the difference when decorating for the holidays. I like to imagine snow collecting on the front door wreath and boxwood dressing up our barn doors. This week we have some ideas on how to update your holiday decorating. We love the look of an oversized wreath above a low bench covered in an animal hide or a gathering of cuttings with simple rope. You could also set your wreath right on the bar or keep it super simple with a single strand of green on your bedroom doors. Which is your favorite wreath? Do you make your own?
