O.S. Rider, Sarah Jurjevich, gives us a peak into what her Summer will hold!
I am looking forward to my summer ahead. It will be a change from all my summers from the last years. Instead of spending weeks away at a time picking up and packing to different horse shows, I will have more time for training and my personal life.
I feel that the direction I am moving forward into is a positive one, but it is still a change. Change is challenging and exciting, and more so then ever before in my life I feel like I am doing exactly what I am meant to do.
My passion for horses is still thriving but my ideas and goals have evolved into an opportunity that has been perfectly tailored to who I am.
As I mentioned in my last blog, what drives me the most is taking time with horses to develop them in a program that allows them to grow at a pace that is natural to them. The connection and understanding I feel from that horse is what motivates me to find the next level for me and that horse.
I am still representing my home farm Springer Horse Farms LTD as a rider. In addition to that, I will helping Sweet Home Farm this summer and working at the Pan American Games. I am so excited about this opportunity and that the games are close to home at the Caledon Equestrian Park.
I'm excited for the positive changes in my life and the opportunities ahead. I'm lucky to have so much support around what I love to do. I can't wait to send sunny updates in the months ahead!
