Seeing Red

Red is everywhere on Valentine's Day ! A day that celebrates love; whether it's romantic love, family love, or simply friendship. Red symbolizes love, anger, passion and courage. For me red is warmth, it makes me happy, and it radiates energy.  Red is one of my favorite colors, especially in the fall and winter months. In fashion and in the home, it makes a statement. I really enjoyed reading about all the stages of his life, beginning with his early days at Dior in 1958 through his innovative designs in the 60's and 70's. What and who inspired him from season to season. I loved the gowns, they were stunning! But I spent the most time perusing his work process. From first sketches and fabric selection to the various stages of production until the final...

Gather Here With Grateful Hearts

There are a handful of days out of the entire year where we gather as family and friends to celebrate in thanks and togetherness. Few things in life are sweeter than sharing these moments with the ones we love most. Not only do we look forward to the memories we will create, but we love a great holiday setup!      May your table be as illuminated as your hearts! We love a wonderful assembly of pumpkins and candles.   {Photo via Pottery Barn Kids}   Whether you are a minimalist, or love a table runneth over with décor, let your Turkey Day tablescape be your artistic vision! This is the space you will gather round with your favorite people. Be sure to...
